PLAN-B WARNING:
Smoking cigarettes while using Plan B increases your chance of
having heart problems. Do not smoke while using Plan-B.
The risk of heart problems increase with age (in women greater
than 35 years of age) and with frequent smoking (15 cigarettes
per day or greater).
USES OF PLAN B:
Plan-B is used to help prevent pregnancy in women who
have had unprotected sex (intercourse) or suspect a failure in
their current form of birth control (e.g., broken condom). It
is not intended to be used for routine birth control and will
not stop an existing pregnancy (abortion).
NOTES:
Do not share Plan-B with others. As with other oral contraceptives,
this medication does not protect or prevent against HIV and other
sexually transmitted diseases.
MISSED DOSE:
If you miss a dose of plan b, contact your doctor immediately.
STORAGE:
Store at PLAN B room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C).
Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C)
is permitted.
